The one with Atomic Blonde, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, The Dark Tower and Williams

Reviews of WilliamsAtomic BlondeThe Hitman’s Bodyguard and The Dark Tower

The local podcast with most of its listeners in the USA returns, with a working audio file this time (sorry, so sorry) and a load of goodies for you lucky fans.

News and gossip to begin with, mostly DCEU focussed with discussions of The Batman and the next Wonder Woman (though not about Patty Jenkins giving a bitch-slap to James Cameron).

A swift run through those notable film stars who have passed on since we were last on air. And one who hasn’t (#Rourkewatch).

Simon has a review of family documentary Williams which is less about the legendary F1 team, and more about the family behind the name.

Mat reviews the Charlize Theron 90s set Euro-action flick Atomic Blonde, also starring James McAvoy.

More Euro-carnage as Simon reviews Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L Jackson in The Hitman’s Bodyguard, which also stars a foul-mouthed Salma Hayek.

Final review this week sees Mat cast his eye over Idris Elba and Matthew McConnaughey in the long-awaited adaptation of Stephen King‘s legendary series of novels, The Dark Tower.

The one with Wonder Woman, PotC: Salazar’s Revenge, Baywatch and Colossal

Garrgh me harties as the good ship Admit One sets sail with Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge. We stay on the beach with a review of Dwayne Johnson and Zac Ephron’s Baywatch, examine the curious Colossal with Anne Hathaway and heap yet more praise on Gal Gadot and Chris Pine in the really rather splendid Wonder Woman. All this plus a splat of news, and a look back at the career of James Bond star, and legendary smoothie, Sir Roger Moore.
